IWI Tavor going to the US

Hey guys,

I am looking to take some courses late this year or early next year and wanted to see if any one has or knows if the IWI Tavor (non US version) can be taken to the US for said courses or would I need to have a US version.
Also if the US version is needed, anyone know if the FRT has been issued for that version in Canada?

IWI tavors imported to Canada cannot be brought into the United States. American tavors are for sale at IRUNGUNS I think. Im not 100% sure on this. So I would assume a FRT number has been issued for the restricted American tavor if it is in fact for sale there.

You should be able to take your Israeli made Tavor into the US on a Form 6NIA. Only way to find out for sure it to apply. The worst the ATF can do is reject the application. You can temporarily import all sorts of black rifles. It's a different process than a permanent import which would not be permitted.
