The curried goat...mountain goat of course....was my favourite but the lynx, cougar, mule deer, octopus and pate was really good too. Definitely the best wild game dinner we've ever been to.

I'd be all over those Lynx fingers & Buffalo pate like a duck on a June Bug ! Certainly willing to try the Cougar too.
Elk, bison, moose, venison, always good - sometimes great - depending on handling & preparation. Toronto Chefs Mark McEwen & Jamie Oliver do an outstanding job with game.

Octopus is pretty common in my circles ... and always enjoyed.

One of the better game dinners I've attended had some Mountain (Dall) Sheep ribs ... which I thought then, and still do, as some of the best wild game I've ever tasted.
Goat is also a favourite ..., but curry of any kind is not ! BBQ'd kid (domestic) is some tasty ! A traditional Easter favourite for some.

Looky a little sauced would of enjoyed the sauced ingredients.
Wow, what a spread.
Suspender wear'in feast for sure.
Or sweat pants.
Need the room to grow...............G:

I went to a wild life supper a month ago and had bear for the first time in my life and it was REALLY good.

Going to another one next weekend.

The menu sounded great! As a curry lover, the goat and lamb sounded good. Living in the GTA, we are blessed with a number of Jamaican restaurants that serve curry goat. I wish I could try curried mountain goat though.

Dall sheep meat of course the best ... you have to go high for them and bring them on your back ... of course don't talk about exotic species in countries that all finish in stan something lol

around easter we used to have goat kid (sorry don't know the English name) and one of the delicious and tender meat .... good call if we get the draw and get one ill try the curry.

I'll put Dall and Stone sheep meat up against any of the "stan" meats I've tasted. Some good vittles in those northern mountains. I'll take axis deer as the best meat I've ever tasted though.

you didnt like Eland or Oryx filets ...

any meat can taste so good depending on the environment ... Kudu loins in the middle of nowhere in CAR was so great ...at least in my memory.
