New Glock 17 problem

Not damning in itself....I have done lots to my glock Buy my standard philosophy is to always run extended firing pins with reduced power firing pin springs.

I don't think I've ever had a light strike

It shows in some of the ops other threads that he wanted a lighter trigger so he was gonna mess with his.

That may have more to do with this. Im betting he messed it up himself.

If you are a betting man you would lose.

I havent recieved my parts yet , trust me this is a stock one no mods. All i have done is a detailed strip/ clean and it went perfect. It gradually became worse with same ammo . I will take it apart again tonight see if i missed something. i wll pickup some different ammo, i will get a chance on wednesday to see what happens.

1. checked the ammo or used different ammo ?
2. checked the firing pin channel ?
3. checked to make sure that the recoil guide rod is parallel with the barrel ? if not, that could be an issue. If not careful, you may have placed the recoil guide rod on the wrong 'notch'.

maybe next time you could ask the person directly. I mentioned before it was stock and you go ahead and degrade me, saying i did it myself.

Thanks for the help!! much appreciated

Sorry but Ive heard many a time guys complain about their Glocks, only to find they screwed with them doing mods or not reassembling it properly after a detail strip, which is hardly necessary anyhow with a new gun.

I hope you find your fix whatever it is. Police Ordnance is a Glock Warranty center. I had to send a Glock 21 in to them once as the mag release fell out. So Glocks do have issues now and then.
