Is it just me or is .22LR hard to find?

Is the American shortage hitting Canada or something? I have been having a pretty hard time trying to find 500 round bricks in my area. Everywhere I go, it is out of stock!

Seems a lot of people are having issues with finding .22, powder, etc.

I for one, havent had any issues with anything; maybe less selection, but its all available.

Can't find much around here - lots of winchester bulk but I've never been a fan. CCI and blazer has been slim pickings for about 6 months, and what I have found of it was inflated; $45 for 500 CCI standard, picked some up but wasn't happy with that price.

I've seen a few of those Remington bucket O' bullets, anyone have anything positive to say about them?

We have had a problem with gun dealers holding supplies of 22 LR for those who are buying new guns. Some wont sell at all and some are 10.00 or 11.00 a box of fifty. We do have one store selling 22 LR at 5.00 a box and they always have it in stock. I have bought amunition made in GB and Mexico. I have about 1300 rounds put back , that I bought 2 or 3 years ago. I buy a box or two every now and then, to keep my supply up. Some are buying and scalping it .

This seems to be the trend all across the USA and the demand is not dying down at all. When it comes in its sold. Its now to the point that match 22 ammo is almost cheaper than crappy bulk. 1300 rounds.... that is 2 1/2 bricks, not much at all in 22lr

The shop I help out in had three million rnds of 22rf a year ago, now all brands are starting to run out.
