Just wondering if anyone knows of a decent recoil pad for older 870 furniture. I recently picked up some wood from a 1993 Express and swapped out my black synthetic furniture on my 2012 Express. The pads on both sets were hard in that typical way but I noticed they fit the buttstocks differently. Just wondering if anyone has found anything that fits the older furniture. Thanks in advance.

Tagged, I need a recoil pad for a reeeally old wingmaster.
I found the same phenomenon while swapping a newer Mossberg 500 with older, wood furniture. New pad was about 3mm too wide and hung off the buttstock. If anyone finds a Mossy 500 wood-specific recoil pad, please post.

I put a Pachmayr Decelerator on my 1989 Express years back...
Was this in the last say 5 years? Or was it long enough ago that it might have been produced to fit the older Express? I have a bad feeling that there was a change in the design of the fitment between the butt stock and the recoil pad and there might not be much available. I will have a look at this product though. Thanks all for the responses.
Bump for any comments on outfitting older wood 870 furniture with recoil pads? I have read many reviews that the newer common pads are not really fitting properly. Will modify one I suppose if I have to but just fishing for insight. Thanks.
