Made the conversion on regular SKS to take AK magazines. Let me know what you think.

I noticed the bolt doesn't stay open after the last shot is that something that can be altered as well? but other wise share your skills we all want an sks-d we just don't want to pay the stupid price for one

My sks D doesn't hold open on the last shot.

Cause ak mags typically don't have a hold open follower, one "downside" to Ak's. Just have to learn to do a fast check when it stops going boom.

One question to those who own / owned a sks-d:

I assume you can't use stripper clips to load the mag since the bolt doesn't hold open am I correct?
