Mosin nagant

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone bends bolts or knows where to get one? Also looking for archangel stock to fit it?

Hello and welcome to the forums!

Try Westrifle for both of these. They are a site sponsor with an add at the top of the page. You're most likely going to need a bent bolt kit which will either need to be installed by yourself or a gunsmith/competent metal worker.

You're going to love the Mosin Nagant, if you don't already :)

I do love the mosin such fun to shoot and pretty accurate outta the box. I did a trigger job on it already. I am buying a second so I can keep one traditional style which I love and the other in the archangel stock.

Thanks for the info I'll check them out

There's an outfit down south that'll do a weld job and re chrome the bolt. A nicer job than those bolt on handles, but they were way backed up on orders when I spoke with them last. Boltman or something like that...they were offering either traditional sniper bent or a modern profile to clear a hunting scope. Not sure of anyone doing a nice job like that up here.

I have heard about this company as well and almost sent mine down to them to have it bent.

To the OP: You can get bent bolt bodies off of eBay fairly cheap ($80) but I don't think you will find many people willing to ship to Canada.

My 1955 Polish MN with a "bent bolt". Bought it (as is) a few years ago not knowing a thing about these rifles. It appeared to be un-fired and looked so cool….
