If anyone is looking for this tumbler...it's in stock at Cabelas now.

I buid one, was easy but I bought model B last week. The main problem for the build - to make a good drum. Anything else could bee made from old printer.

yes you can!!!!!!!! and if you were local to me i would walk you through it... tho, at the same time.. buying can sometimes be easier... however you do need to buy media as well... so add 40$ +shipping.

That's not bad shipping cost if anywhere in Canada.. the alternative would be

h ttp://www.canadiantreasureseekers.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=330 but works out to about $25.00 including shipping

If you want 3 day delivery it was $28.00! It looks like $250.00 is the going rate in Canada.

Advantage to this option is if you're not from BC you only get charged GST, no PST. Definite plus unless you live in Alberta.

The one from Cabela's will not include media. One warning about the one sold at Cabela's is that the motor is only half the rpm as the Thumler on the stainless media website...at least mine was. The pics of people with all their shiny brass after 4 hours of tumbling will not happen with this model. Your brass will be clean but not very shiny if that's important to you. The new upgraded model on the stainless site is much nicer and better built.

I built one
For the drum I used 4" pipe, 4" cap, 4" to 3" reducer and a 3" rubber cap with a screw clamp.
Works wonderful only cost me total of $50 for the entire build washes about 100 rounds of 308

Tho the Media was about $50

Not the prettiest thing but it does work super well

Would you say that's the max (100x 308 cases) for the size of tube you used? What length? Any baffles internal?

When I get around to building one I was gonna get a scrap 12"+ diameter tubes by 20". But I like the idea of multiple tubes running different calibers at the same time. Build a set of rollers for 4 tubes then you can add 3 tubes on top of the 4 and so on.

Ya its about maxed at 100 with media and water
My tube is about 12" long without the caps and reducer
No internal baffles, it would probably help but the drum rotates about 80RPM
