Go with RFB, it's a lot more comfortable to use compare to the front heavy XCR-m,
Accuracy is good enough.. With hand loads you can get 1"-1.5" groups and 2"-3" with cheap factory ammo.
RFB I significantly shorter and better balanced. Don't listen to those who will tell you that it's a plastic gun.. It's not.
It's a very solid gun with just right amount of polymer.

While I am a keltec fan, I have never had a chance to hold, let alone shoot an RFB. But I have read about them a fair amount and it stands out to me as being a sometimes picky on ammo type of rifle. Better make sure the ammo you are using functions properly so you don't become the hunted!

With adjustable gas system, you can tune it up for any kind of ammo.
RFB in a blind can't be beat, way shorter than an XCR. Walking about, I also prefer RFB. But the XCR is more of a platform that many people are used to, the RFB takes a bit of getting used to. Ammo shouldn't be a problem, turn the gas up or down when sighting in, and use the same stuff for the duration of the hunt.
I was considering the same question OP. I went with an XCR-L in keymod in 6.8 spc. Depends what your hunting whether you need the .308. The keymod is supposed to really help the balance (no more front heavy). The only reason I chose the XCR is because I am also going to be using the gun for shooting paper and I'm not too sure on bullpups. If its just a hunting gun maybe the RFB is a better choice.

You're entitled to your opinion even if it's wrong.
My RFB Fed and cycled everything I put through it. I ran 110gr V-max handloads to 165gr SST handloads and everything in between as well as about 5 different types of factory ammo. You do need to adjust the gas system for optimum performance but if you aren't smart enough to figure out how to adjust it I can see how some would have problems with it.
Everything that should be steel is and not only that they used quality steel (do some research and you'll understand).
The most common complaint I hear is also the stupidest one. People think it's reasonable to be able to put 5 different types of ammo into it and have it cycle properly. Well, I for one find a load my rifle likes and then stick to it. Being able to run all different types of ammo without adjustment means nothing to me in exchange for the light smooth recoil the RFB gives when properly adjusted. If you want to be able to shoot 5 different rounds from a single mag then just set it for the weakest load and put up with it being overgassed for the rest.
I have also shot an XCR-M and have no problems with them either, the best way to decide which one is right for you is to handle and hopefully shoot them both and then decide which one you like better.
Speaking of carry all day, the RFB is awesome on a sling across your back while riding the quad, no barrel hanging out to get snagged on anything.
Some days when walking through the bush I found it was almost too short at times, once you get used to it it's great but in the beginning it's a little awkward finding a good way to hold it.
My best handloads were doing about 1.5 inch at 100yds which is very comparable to my buddy's XCR-M with his handloads. Both are more than accurate enough to drop any large game animal at 200yds.

I must say anyone saying the xcr-m is front heavy has no excuse saying that unless they are either sickly ill, 8 years old, 80 years old, very feminine, born female or a dwarf. Can you feel the difference between the two, yes absolutely, but is the xcr-m heavy? JFC NO. Heaven forbid a guy crying about the weight of his xcr actually takes a bear down.....

Almost spit out my coffee, good point though! I have an xcr-M and love it. Sure its 10.5lbs with a loaded mag and scope but thats part of being a man. Like i read in another post eat your steak n eggs and take her for a stroll. Took my first buck this fall with it and fell even more in love, ill be taking it to a spring bear hunt aswell.
(ps: if your really some frail vegan shaped dude who really can't handle the weight a front grip helps)
I'm only about 140 Lbs. and I hunt with a standard M14...shot a buck offhand this past season with it between 75-100 meters waiting for him to clear a thicket. It's all about practise...and ah...not being lazy and doing some conditioning once in a while goes a long way too lol.
That being said, I've handled both but only shot one (XCR). I'm slowly warming to the idea of a bullpup but I can't seem to shake the feeling that it's just not "a marksman's rifle". Personal preference only. Maybe I'm just an old softy. I think an XCR-M with a Vortex 1-4 PST would be tits...can I say that?
