Hello,
After disassembling my new Norinco 305, I have come to realize the metal liner in my plastic Norinco 305 seems to be preventing the trigger group from fitting properly back into place. How can I remove this metal liner from my plastic stock? The trigger group fits nicely into the barreled receiver and does slide back in with the stock on but the trigger guard will not close. I can see the two metal pieces of the plastic liner are preventing smooth placement. It was quite an ordeal to pull the trigger assembly out as well. Any assistance much appreciated,

Todd

There's not much you can't fix with high explosives, vice grips, duct tape or a hammer. However, the metal is a heat shield. File it a bit to fit it better rather than remove it. No rotary tools.

I had the same issue when I took off the receiver and left it out for some time. I ended up leaving the receiver in the garage where it was cold to make it contract and the stock on the vent register where it was warm/hot to make it expand and voila! If went in :)
