Hi, first match this year is on Sat. Apr. 5. Set up at 8:00, start time at 10:00. Pistol round count is100, Carbine is 60, Shotgun is 40 (#8-#4 shot) Carbines and Shotguns must have slings. come on out and shake off some winter rust. It's even supposed to be above zero.

Wish I had time to attend this.

Nothing is zero'd yet!.

Have fun guys, CHAS 3-Guns are not your typical 3 Gun matches, they have a different experience than WRAS that is for sure!.

Just as friendly and just as fun!, go out there and sling some lead.

There is a CHAS annual range membership ($160), and a CHAS 3 gun league annual membership ($50). If you are not a CHAS Range Member than you have to pay $20 to the range for the daily guest fee. For the 3 Gun League, the annual membership is $50, which includes your first match fees. Additional matches cost $10 per match.

CHAS Range Fees go to range upkeep and administration. 3 gun fees are used to fund targets and barricades. The league is in the process of making a substantial steel target purchase, which should be available for future matches.

The matches are fairly social and laid back. There is a competitive element (timed), however there are no prizes. Bragging rights only.

We typically use slings and employ carbines to longer ranges than WRAS, however it is certainly less competitive, or gamey. Leave your race/space gun at home fellas.

Come check us out, or go to the website: www.chas3gun.com

Guests pay guest fee ($20) plus match fee ($10)? This might read as if membership is also required.

So I guess Curmudgeon won't be attending.

Lol, I like how you keep it classy when dealing with :jerkit:,
Everyone I have met or talked to that are active in CHAS are so easygoing and welcoming, really seems like a group that is just excited to shoot!
I can't wait for a nice dry summer, hoping to attend the zombie shoot, arrived last year and saw the flooding :(
After that I joined the FB group, even thou I am not a member because its just not feasble to be a member at a range 2 hours away, but just a great group of guys, gals, and everything between lol!

I'm coming up to see what's what. My shotgun is currently lifter-less though, so I'll be unarmed.

Even though I'm also deeply offended by the IDPA vs IPSC remark ;)

Thanks to all the CGN'rs who came out today and participated in the shoot. A good time was had by all. Results will be posted on the website shortly. Also, props to the WRAS 3-Gunners who lent a hand. It was much appreciated.
