Domestic to wild

You will not see any "pink piggies" roaming in the wild. After about 6 weeks of "freedom" even a "pink" swine will grow hairier, grow tusks, and get more aggression.

Shot a bunch back in the 60's ... they were of considerable concern to the parents of local kids getting off the school bus !

That pink barnyard piggy changes quite a bit after a couple of years of feral survival.

Whelan Lad ... where did you earn to speak East Coast Canadian ???

They still raise some "pastured" pork around here, so don't just start popping off if you see a pig in a field

Pigs are highly intelligent, they get out of just about any fence and are a buggar to catch. Can think of a couple of instances where that was the only recourse. ;)

WHEN do domestic pigs turn ferral ? DO you shoot any 4 legged pink pig u see in the forest ? Or not in a pen

When you see one like this running across the road.
Just make sure you follow the Hunting Regulations for your Province with considerations to the distance from road as well.

This guy was in BC and one had to be 15 M (center line) from that road at the time.
