Looking for a dovetail gas lock front sight base, metric threads, ideally with a height suitable for a carbine length barrel. Any supplier in Canada or US who will ship?

It's too bad "Volters" never mass produced thiers.... Wonder if they are still around?
Dlask makes a device as well

I have the Dlask adjustable glfs base. Nice piece but it is the "regular" height, not the taller version. I have been told that CanadaAmmo is going to bring some in. I hope they do b/c I haven't been able to find anything else so far.

You can also use the DLASK front site and order from Brownells the SOCOM 16 Trijicon sights - although I understand a few people think they are a little wide

Damn, that was easy. Thanks Thomas! I have been trying to find one for way too long and thought SAI would not sell retail to Canada.

SAI 1-800-680-6866. Ext. 2. Tell them you are Canadian so you get international sales.

Part number for front Scout sight is AA0510. Not the MS0510 that Brownell's sells.
$42 + $10 shipping delivered to my house. She said maybe a week or two. The value to me to get rid of the goofy Norc sight: priceless.

You order it direct from springfield armory inc.
Not sure if treeline carries but I get mine direct from sai

If canam has more DA socoms made..... Would be a great idea to make a similar sight to the bush rifle one. For height anyways.
For the flash hider base on the shorties or on a gas lock base, the bush rifle sight sure solves a lot of issues with getting the rears to calibrate correctly.
On my shorty, although it's a krieger with a coast guard brake, I've installed BM59 rear sights and a bush rifle front sight.
My rear calibrations now closely match those of my 22" rifle so no confusion between rifles with how many clicks from bottom to battle zero at 300
Perfect :D

I happen to have some NOS Volters in my possession. If you are interested pleas pm me. I also have some Volters NOS Navy Gas Lock sights as well? All designed for the Norinco threads.

Thanks Johnny Volume
