You're right, my Nosler manual shows a load with IMR 4064 behind a 150/155 grain bullet. 56.5 grains as a start, working up to 60.5 max.
It also shows it as the most accurate powder tested. MV from 3063 to 3242.

I had a 300WSM, just have the 270WSM. used RL19 with great results. I use IMR4350 in the .270WSM now.
4064 is my powder for the .243 and its supposed to be great in the .308.
IMR 4064 is a great and versatile powder, I've used it in everything from 300 Savage, 308, 358, 30-06, etc with excellent results.
People complain they can't find Varget around, but IMR 4064 works just as well from what I see.
In fact, if I could only have two powders in my reloading room, to cover all the calibers I reload for, it would be IMR 4350 and IMR 4064.
