Anyone got pics of their crazy spring loadfest??? :dancingbanana::dancingbanana::dancingbanana::dancingbanana:

No picture but I reloaded over 1300 rounds of 9mm, 357 and 38 SPL on a single stage press two weekends ago. I piled them in the middle of my reloading room, curled up onto of the pile and slept like a dragon on a pile of gold!

I only have 350 .223 casings ready to go. You are King.

Loading takes long enough... without taking time to take pictures of my loading... I usually have about 5K loaded on hand in various calibers... mostly .223, .22 KH, .243, .30/30, .44 mag etc... I have one tool box labelled "Next Range Session"... in it I have all the ammo for the guns that will get the next work out... I also have two double rifle range bags that I keep the rifles in for the "Next Range Session." I try to keep it to four guns per trip, but truthfully it is usually between six and ten... I am always swapping scopes and stocks and bits n pieces and then having to re-zero the guns... maybe I do that for an excuse to go shooting... what do you think Dr.Freuds???

I don't reload........will you be my friend?:runaway:

The Dr. says swapping scopes and other accessories is good for your mind and keeps your hands busy. Don't want your hands to be idle, who knows what would happen then.;)

I have a .223/5.56 backlog of cases to reload..................

My cat will not give me my chair back and I have to reload standing up.

Even being on the internet is a problem, below she has her paw cocked and locked and if I reach for the mouse I get swatted.

I have over 500 rounds loaded and I don't want to get cat scratch fever. Laugh2

Last weekend I was off and loaded the following:
200 .308 for my savage
500 .308 for my m305
250 30-06 for my garand
110 .303
I have 109 7.5 swiss sitting in the block waiting.
about 600 rounds of .223 a few weeks ago

I have 500 .223 brass primed ready, just no projectiles.

Also oddly enough I discovered using ziploc bags recently as well, makes it easier for me to write down the load on it and keep track!

Good God bigedp51, how long did it take you to process that much brass?

Cat is hilarious btw, that's awesome. And I'm so not a cat guy.

My next door neighbors son is a local policeman and he knew I reloaded for my AR15s and .223 bolt action. He gave me three five gallon buckets of once fired .223/5.56 cases of police practice ammunition. It was made up of Remington, Federal and Lake City brass, "BUT" this cheaper practice ammunition uses cases that are seconds that did not pass inspection for use with more costly ammunition. Meaning the case wall and neck thicknesses varied greatly and the brass was not suitable for shooting tight groups in my bolt action.

I use this brass for short range practice at 100 yards or less with my AR15s and don't get upset if I loose some of the brass in the weeds. I was amazed when I bought a box of Nosler custom brass and how uniform the neck thickness and case weight was with these cases. The Nosler brass cost a lot more but NOTHING had to be done to the brass as far as prepping or uniforming. Just load and shoot tight groups, the only downside to this high grade brass is you don't have any excuse for fliers other than blaming yourself. (except for drinking too much coffee) ;)
