12 guage 2 3/4 steel

I have some #2 hummason steel that seems to pattern well no complaints here on it

Not saying I could not get it to pattern just I had to weigh every load vs pellet count etc
Any idea when it was bought?? Some bags of shot I have are coated with graphite that seem to be a better quality vs the other bags with nothing

Took a quick look and as I thought still had quite a batch of the old Hummason steel shot 8 bags in fact in BB, 2 and 3.
Wonder when they stopped selling it. This has to be 15 plus years old.
I have been a customer of theirs forever and never a problem but comparing it to what is out there today you definately don't count pellets with the vintage stuff and they were way ahead of their time with some of the shapes:D
Anyone use this stuff
Cheers

I have not seen that in years. I never used it though I would......cant be any worse tham the shot in Experts......lol and it will kill birds.

Good luck

I've used a lot of it over the years and it will kill but all joking aside it would probally be closer to winchester's blind side pellets today than anything :)

I think I have bought mine about 12-15 years ago I just got the one bag left...there is one bag left on shelf at local gun shop too in the back of the rsi steel LOL

Figured it had to be close to 15. When I first started one could get nothing for reloading steel probally 1993?? The first shot came in an unmarked cloth bag from Daisy yes the boys that made BB guns. Then I got some wads and shot from ballastic products since no body did anything for reloaders back then in steel and our reloads were terrible.
Went through a few years of bismuth which was great stuff but expensive then finally found rsi and sam1
Been great ever since
Cheers
