Tried one of these the other day at the range....WOW, I'm impressed, these aren't your Dad's BB gun ! Normally I shoot Bullseye with a GSP Expert in both .22 and .32, but the .177 was equally (if not better) as accurate.(but not really appropriate for Bullseye, except for training) I have been looking at Cibles Canada, Airgunsplus, Western Marksman etc websites. But the prices are astronomical, ie $2,500 for a 5 shot repeater (Styer) $1,700 for Morini, etc. Has anyone imported one of these from the States, where the prices are a bit more reasonable? Given that some are 495 FPS, they are non-guns. Does anyone know of any more dealers in Canada?
Thanks

If you can find someone from the US who will ship to Canada you'll probably pay more after paying duty, taxes and the exchange rate.

Looking at the Pilkguns site in the US the Morinis start at $1755 and the Steyrs start at $1900.

Not much different from Canadian prices. And if you need service good luck sending it to the US for repair.

Why you need to spend $1700 on new Styer PCP target pistol?
I had Styer LP10 silhouette electronic trigger from EE for $1100 NIB condition. EE is you best buddy.
There are a lot of good 10m pistol with budget and you can out shoot some high end silhouette.
I have a Izzy 46m from Russia and pair with my LP10. It only cost me $495+tax new.

If you call Cibles they often have some second hand pistols for a decent price. If you go with an older generation CO2 pistol (bulk fill) you can get a good gun for a decent price. The Baikal Izh 446M is also a great buy but cranking it (it's a pump) can get long after a while. The Tau-7 are great, but CO2 does not work well in the cold. Both of these guns are much more accurate than most shooters.

Why not try finding a feinwerkbau 65 for around $600, its as accurate, will never wear out, and no messing around with compressed air. Compressed air is a pain.

You are right, these target air pistols, are much more accurate than rimfire

Agreed, the FWB 65 is as accurate as a modern PCP, but if you find one make sure the seals and relevant parts have been replaced. These are 30 years old now (I used to shoot one way back).

I use a scuba tank to refill my Steyr; $10 per fill and the scuba tank lasts 2 years or more.
