Had my dad's SU-16 out to the range once and had it piercing primers with two different lot's of American Eagle. I searched and didn't find anything on this. Any one else experience this? Suggested remedy? Thanks!

I actually had that as well...some light strikes that didn't fire (dimple left on the primer) to the opposite end of the sprectrum with pierced primers when they woudl fire. WTF???

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but I am having this same problem with my SU 16.

I started a thread in the gunsmithing section and I wondered what the outcome was to pix your rifle?

I ordered a new, replacement firing pin from Keltec and my problem seems to have been resolved.

You can call them and they'll send it right to you. Tell them that you're having a problem with it and they might even send it for no charge.

That's laughable!!!

I have called them numerous times, pushed 4 to talk to their rifle people and waited on hold with my Bluetooth headset on for HOURS until you finally hear a click and the call is disconnected.

Not once but several times!

I have also emailed them, which they state they will reply within 2-3 business days. And never gotten a reply.

Easily the worst customer service I have ever seen!

Well, I'm not sure what to tell you.

I called them once, got through nearly straight away, spoke to a very nice lady who took my order and sent me the parts for my Sub2k for free because I told her that I wanted "backups" in-case something happened to the parts in the gun.

Yes my experience with Keltec was very frustrating, I called numerous times, waited on hold for hours, emailed them and never got responses of any kind.

Just today, I got a bolt and firing pin from the dealer I bought the rifle from (second hand). He gave the parts to me free of charge and. I put it together, ran 30 rounds through and seems to be working like a champ!

Great customer service from the dealer, horrible from Keltec in my oppinion.

I had problems getting a part for PLR 22. Vault distribution came through with it. I had to pay but, better then having a big paper weight. Vault was great to deal with. That was a couple of years ago.
