Sig P226 Elite Stainless .40?

Looking for some help here, I can't seem to find a P226 Elite Stainless in 40 cal, anybody know of any dealers across the country that has one in stock? I have no problem finding one in 9mm, just no 40's.

And don't bother posting if all you have to say is "why do you want a 40".

The stainless versions aren't that easy to find. I shot a SS p220 Elite .45 and thought it was a little slice of heaven.

Questar would be the best bet to order one, but be prepared for a wait.

I already have a 229 and 226 Elite stainless in 9mm. Just need one in .40 now

I'm mad at the dealers. Won't mention names. However, a week ago a dealer got one (elite stainless 9) in and sold for $1350, now this week it's going for $1450.

Same thing with a HK45. Listed one day for $1090 then they get a shipment of them in and they all go up to $1350.

Sorry but I have no leads on a .40. Looking for one too.

May have something to do with the value of the Canadian dollar. Remember it's dropped about 10% in the past year.

It's definitely not gouging on the part of the dealer. That never happens. Laugh2
 
Thanks for the replies, guess I'm not really surprised that finding a 40 would be hard, maybe I'll have to settle with the 9mm, although a P220 Elite Stainless would do :)
 
Reliable has a 9mm avail.

The 220 would be nice too. An older 220 st (no beaver tail) on EE now though

You might find a 40 in the X5 Allround which is basically a 5" elite stainless
