Hey anyone here got there 1022 geared up with either the Tech Sight TSR 100 or 200 AR style sights as found on the hi-cal site . wanting your opinions on them ,how do you like them and which do you think would be a better for a plinking / hunting 1022 . thanks

I have the TS100 set on my SR-22 and I couldn't be happier. Very solid and quite accurate. I went with the TS100 because I prefer the A1 style dual-flip apertures.

Here's a 10-shot group I fired at 50 yards with my SR-22 earlier today, using the TS100 irons and CCI Blazers:

Cool nice group .kinda leaning toward the dual flip myself and was wondering if the low aperture is sighted for 50 yds what range would the high aperture be sighted for ? also do you get a good field of view with the .062" aperture .

Thanks, I haven't sighted them separately so I'm not sure how pronounced the difference is. It's got a good field of view in daylight.

Just decided to go this route myself (TSR100) - Anybody know of any other suppliers out there besides HiCal?

(Brownells is out of stock for the 100s at the moment)

So I have ordered the TSR 100 sights from Hi-cal .these will be going on a blued / gray black laminate full stock 1022 . I am wanting to keep the rifle as light as possible yet have some type of iron sights I can actually see .I scoped the rifle but didn't like the extra weight and bulk the scope add . my only concern is with the .062" aperture of the rear sight thinking it might be a bit small for quick target acquisition .

I got the tsr200 low profile ones from hical, just waiting on the barrelled action I bought to show up and I'll mount it all in the under folder stock I got from hical too.

I emailed and asked Tech Sights about this, and they claim that any standard A2 rear aperture will fit. That's my plan, personally.

I've got tech sights on 2 1022s and one marlin 60. They work great. I prefer the 100 series because of the flip aperture and because of the glare if the 200 series has to be adjusted low to line up. They are very rugged also.

I bought a set of TS200's off of Amazon.com after I got a set for my SKS. I currently have them co-witnessed through a Primary Arms micro red dot. I haven't been able to get to the range yet to test them out (waiting for a new extractor). If how well they work on SKS is any indicator, I'm sure they will be great.

Got my tech sights today and installed them and as I suspected the .062 aperture was a bit small . aperture was fuzzy with the gun shouldered . I put a 5/64th bit (.077") in the drill and punched them out .this cleaned up the fuzziness and gave a better field of view . just need to sight in on my next trip to the range .

The Tech-Sights on my 10/22 cut-down groups sizes dramatically.....:)

Glad to hear that solution is viable. If you're not familiar with the concept already: You can use "sight black" to eliminate any glare that might be caused by the newly-exposed steel on the circumference of the aperture. The field-expedient version is to simply coat the white steel with soot from a lighter flame. Temporary, but it works like a damn!

I'm going to try to fit a standard A2 aperture to mine when they arrive. God only knows what that will do to the elevation of the POI, though, so some different height front sight posts might be in my future, as well...

Yes I forgot to note that I just dipped a pipe cleaner in cold blueing and ran it through the apertures after drilling them out . I was lucky to have the afternoon off and got to the range to try them out .absolutely love the sights I was shooting loony size 10 shot groups at 50 yds :dancingbanana: . a huge improvement over the factory sights .
