DD MK18... Happy i took advices...

When i started buying restricteds and to this day, dont know much about them, but there were dealers and members who offered me advices on what to buy, to be well served...The Daniel Defense MK18 was recomended by many, and i listened to them, getting one, i am very impress by this little AR, all i can say, the fun factor is huge, after 300 rounds, only the word perfection can apply....
If some of you are on the fence about it, go for it, i am very happy i did... JP.

I am buying one as soon as the 2014 Cerakote MilSpec+ models hit Canadian stores. I don't necessarily need the latest and greatest brown ones, but I really like the new soft-touch furniture on it. They made the soft ones in black for 2013 models, but I can't find those for sale anywhere, either (sold out). Hopefully within a few months.

It's such a small rifle, i guess since it was sitting on the block, did not have to hold the rifle forward, this stance is comfy.... JP.
 
While It looks a good firearm, the short barrel restriction (From the US) seems to put a damper on what I want to do with IPSC shoots. I still don't know everything but extra paperwork is not my thing.
 
Nice rifle!! Here's another advice Caramel if you want to add more fun factors to your MK18, get a SureFire muzzle brake and a Geissele trigger. You'll multiply the fun factor!! If I remember right you're a member at CRAFM if you want I'll let you try mine. :)

I will get a Geissele ssa, just wanted to try it first, it will improve, for the muzzlebrake, it make it very loud, and my finding after 300 rounds i fired from it is that recoil is very tamed... JP.
