Hey!

Today I was going over a few of my milsurps and thought I would take a few pictures of my WWII Tula produced Soviet pieces.

1939 Tula M1891/30 - Finn captured, likely in the Continuation War and showing signs of heavy use.
1940 Tula Tokarev TT Pistol - 100% original matching and not refurbished.
1943 Tula M1891/30 PU Sniper - Refurbished with Original 1943 dated Factory 297 (Yoshkar-Ola) PU Scope.

Nice stuff!!..Is the sniper one of the recent imports?

Yup - Picked it up from P&S. Great rifle and a fantastic shooter. With 1970's surplus it had no problem doing 2" groups all day at 100m. After a little sight work I had no problem keeping them dead center with a center hold. I am very, very pleased with this rifle. With some dedicated reloads I'm sure the rifle will shine - the bore and crown are immaculate.

Its a real 1943 sniper with a wartime Tula mount and 1943 Yoshkar-Ola scope. Essentially it is a real Soviet sniper rifle that was refurbed post-war and imported into Canada fairly recently.
