Just back from set-up and can report a fair number of milsurps on the tables already set up. No smoking deals, but some market-value examples amid the fantasy-priced examples. A number of CGN sponsor dealers on site.

One full wood Ross Mk III and several sporters, a fair number of full wood Enfields and, of course lots of Mosins (including an early Finn) and a few SVT's. A smattering of Garands and a surprising number of AG42 Ljungmans. For older milsurps a few Martinis, a fair number of Sniders, etc.

How much are they asking for the full wood ross mkIII

Sorry, Ranger, I only saw a handful, didn't get the prices and am not up enough on my Garands to say whether they're worth the trip or not.

There is a niceish kar 88 for 1000$. Been refinished badly. Chromed bolt, what looks like guncoat on the receiver, some damage to the stock. I would have had it but lacked the cash to hand. Also an 1854 carbine, a few other less common milsurps, but some retarded prices as well.

Has anyone seen any K31 chargers or 8mm Mauser ammo (spitzer bullet .323 diameter)?

Going tomorrow morning, need to know who to talk to.

Shredder, I saw both. I suspect the swiss stuff will be gone by the time you get there, though one or two of the ammo collector guys may have one or two at 'collectors' prices. Saw small amounts of old 50s-60s 8X57, saw some newer prvi stuff as well, but you gotta look for it.

Wolverine had Russian SKS's for $175 (all gone within the first hour or so), M44's for $375, M91/30s for $150.00... Picked up one of the M44's for my red rifle pile - if it isn't unfired, it's damn close to unfired. Minty bore and smooth (for a Mosin) bolt. Matching #s. I think they were out of M44's by the time I left.

Saw more Jungle Carbines there than I've seen in a long time, mostly in the $425ish price range (not great, not bad price), although some went into fantasy land pricing.

CSC booth has a pile of "pick what you want" K31's for $250.00 tax inc.

If you hunt around, there are some "reasonable deals" - but nothing that says "oh god oh god oh god take my money now!"

Sooo, what did everyone score? I picked up a carcano that I'll try and post pictures soon for analysis ( help smellie!).

I was there with some CGNers and found me a H&R Handi rifle in 300Blackout. That was a pretty cool find for me.

I met TV Presspass and that was pretty neat. I think we actually have the same name.

That place was a zoo though. I think I got Con Rot because I'm starting to feel sick.

Peter's Drive in is just a bit north of the BMO center, highly recommend stopping by. Great milkshakes and burgers, but outdoor seating only which doesn't mesh well with the new snow.

You're welcome ;-)
