5.56 VZ 58 magwell adapter problem

I installed a magwell adapter to my VZ 58 as per instructions. The adapter will not lock onto frame, keeps falling off. Anyone else have this problem?

You sure you installed the mag catch right. You can use the factory mag catch they are the same as the one provided is just shaved down to prevent accidental realise. Is it on a 223 or 7.62? You watch the youtube video on installation

.223. I' m pretty sure i installed correctly, if I push down the latch it works, but as soon as i release pressure it won't stay. I am going to take off and try it with the original latch. I did watch the video.

By any chance is it a 11in bought off ee?

No, I bought both new.

Fixed it. Something simple that I missed when I installed it.
