We are currently dealing with a company who has given us a prototype of their product to evaluate.
I'm looking for some feedback from you LE/Military and potentially hunters etc.
This is a heating panel that is designed to fit inside plate carriers, vests etc. There is no reason it could not be fitted inside of overalls or other types of clothing.
The idea is to keep the core warm and maintain a constant temperature, when the outside temperature drops, increasing alertness and comfort. This is especially important for periods of low movement or
inactivity (tree stands, ERT/SWAT callouts, etc).
It attaches with velcro but with a little ingenuity other methods could be used. It has a pocket or belt mounted battery pack that will last for 8 hours. It in no
way impedes any movement.
The heat never reaches a temperature that will burn you or over heat you. It is waterproof and weatherproof and can stretch up to 200% their normal length.
It is only 0.8mm thick.
You can charge the battery in vehicle or from a regular outlet. If you purchased additional battery packs, you can swamp them out quickly and easily.
We don't have any prices etc on these yet, but we are looking for thoughts and feedback from you folks who might have use for one of these.
