Ugh that’s a nice price.
I survived the gun control scare of 2013 and all I got was this t-shirt.......
And 30 PMags, 5000 rounds of .223, 3000 rounds of 9mm, 5 BCG's, 5 stripped lowers, and a really pissed off wife.
Debating between a NX8 2.5-20 and a NXS 3.5-15.
If the less magnification and small extra weight and lenght is not an issue, are there other downfall on the NXS?
Does the NXS have the same glass quality or is the NX8 ED glass a new feature that makes a difference?

The NX8 has nicer glass and we are not aware of any downsides for the NX8.

I am very interested in the : C623 NX8 2.5-20X50 F1 - Mil-C $2594
Being first focal plane, would you say the 2.5 zoom range is actually usable?
As a reference I have a vortex razor gen 2 4.5-27,
I use it for competition no big deal, but in a hunting scenario, the 4.5 reticle is barely usable.
With the NX8, would you take on a target comfortably at 50-80 yds using the 2.5x zoom
Edit : At that price point I see NF having a hard time to get 3.5-15x NXS out the door, unless they discount them.
Did NF hinted at NXS getting eventually phased out by NX8?

It is usable at low power due to thicker stadia at the outer portion.
Not aware of NXS being reduced in price.

There is Zero information on the Nightforce site.
Is there any verified information anywhere regarding the specs? Like elevation?
