Yikes!
Nothing personal against Solely, never heard bad things.
But this is more than double the cost of the last 2k 9mm batch I bought.
I can't wait for this nightmare to end.
Importers and manufacturers need to stop exploiting prices or that idiot Justin just needs to ban everything and put us out of our misery like a mangy dog.
Thank you for attending my TED Talk.
Not to derail, but most sale 9mm before the pandemic really took off was still out the door at $0.27 - $0.29 per round. Out the door is the operative phrase there.
Times have changed, placing this at $0.45 per round.
Correction/Clarification.
My most recent batch was 1000 Federal Champion 9mm AL rounds for $251.99 [After Tax] from GoTenda (Mar 2020) ($0.251/pr)
My second most recent batch was 2000 Federal Champion 9mm AL rounds for $398.99 [After Tax] from GoTenda (Nov 2019) ($0.199/pr)
The purchases were pretty close together so the average cost of the 9mm in my ammo closet is $0.216/rnd. vs $0.419/rnd.
So yeah, almost exactly 2x.

Waa waa so expensive. Canadian gun owners have the 'luxury' of treating their guns like a hobby. Prices are driven by demand in the US where they do not treat them like a hobby.
This will be a good deal in a couple of months and you'll regret it then. Or just leave your guns in the safe, which is the same.
The right to buy weapons is the right to be free.
Bureaucracy not an instrument of democratic government but, on the contrary, the worst enemy of freedom and democracy.
If the penalty for a crime is a fine, then that law only applies to the poor.
Also, you accidentally made a succinct point, it is only a hobby up here, which makes it all the more painful.
Ha prices in the USA were not driven by demand, they were jacked up because the manufacturers and distributers knew that current events (Covid and US election at the start of the price hikes) would essentially force people to buy at any price and they knew they could get away with it because global uncertainty DIRECTLY correlates to people wanting to buy ammo to "protect" their families.
lol how is working for Hornady?
