Browning sent this same notice out quite some time ago. Can't fault them. There is no inventory in the US, and timeframes from Japan are too long. They have no reasonable alternatives.

The keyboard warriors here who’ve never run a business or imported any goods or taken any risk will not care much to read your valid point. Consumerism is a hell of a drug.
Can't stock pile parts that aren't even avaliable.Hopefully there will be some stock piling of parts by retailers.
