No More Handguns from Stoeger includes Beretta Uberti Manurhin

Browning sent this same notice out quite some time ago. Can't fault them. There is no inventory in the US, and timeframes from Japan are too long. They have no reasonable alternatives.

Exactly- if anybody is thinking this is our distributors turning on us, they are plain wrong. They have no other viable choice.

Not turning on anybody just giving up. Not something I would do. Alternatives to quitting..............! Think outside the box.

Could they not have gone another route to support the firearms enthusiasts and gun shops like yourselves and shipped you as much product as soon as possible? Giving you the maximum time to sell them before the potential handgun ban? I have no idea of the complexities of getting stuff across the border but it seems like the more firearms sitting in registered pal holders' safes the better.

You don't want to be stuck with inventory you can't sell due to the Government's control. Simple as that.

The keyboard warriors here who’ve never run a business or imported any goods or taken any risk will not care much to read your valid point. Consumerism is a hell of a drug.

Couldn't agree more, some of the commentary here is beyond comprehension by a sane adult and is outright childish. Even after Prophet River tried to educate you on how importation works, the whining continues. We're all unhappy with the decisions of the current government but does it make any sense for distributor to be stuck with inventory they can't sell? Seriously grow up people.
