Just like the AR, the XCR design is a modular, since the upper is not the registered part there is no way to control people running around with a short barrel rifle, if that happens RCMP will just classified the whole rifle as restricted and be done with it.

One way I can think of to get around it is, to ask Robinson Arms to add a matching serial number to the upper as well.


Isn't the government that has the reclassifying powers? Can the RCMP reclassify stuff?
 
Ask the (previous) owner of a Walther G22 or T97 if you think so. :rolleyes:

I believe the T97 "could" be easily converted to full auto from what I understand. It was not a purpose built semi. And the G22 had a removable bullpup stock which is illegal. In fact.......a bird told me....that the Germans (their salesman) "lied" to the RCMP. That's all I'm going to say.
