XCR Pistols

Could you put on a 18.5" barrel on it. Have it non-r

;)

No, purchase a rifle if you want non-restricted. The last thing we need is some smart arse purchasing an XCR short barrel and running around with it on a rifle frame claiming that he has 30 days to notify the CFC. If you don't like the law VOTE work for legal changes, don't try and evade the law.

x10!

The Czech surplus we have in Canada are copper jacket lead core bullets, the steel jacket steel core bullets are grey in colour.

False. All the Czech surplus 7.62x39 in Canada is steel-core M43 spec.

The pictured Czech round in that link just happens to be one of uncommon straight steel bullet with no copper plating. Wood crates of that stuff are marked Fe/Fe instead of the far more common Tbpl/Fe of plated steel bullets.

How would this impact all the surplus 7.62x39 steel core ammo that has been imported from the former Com Bloc - since it could be considered AP and would usable in a pistol (since I don't think we have any commonly available 7.62x39 pistols in Canada at this point).

It's not designed to be AP ammo.

is it the upper or lower thats considered the firearm?
The serial number is on the lower, I know where you going with this. Just like John have post it before don't do it, we don't need CFO to review the classification XCR, because someone decided to put a pistol upper on a rifle lower claiming it is perfectly legal.

Agreed

just asking... certainly dont mean to stir sht up.
Verry cool looking gun. thanks for bringing em in!

Yeah but:

We are taking orders for the XCR handgun now. If all goes to plan, we expect to see them here before the end of this month, May.

If wolverine is taking orders, does wolverine have a price yet? I'm currently assuming it'll be similar to the non-res XCR

Just like every shipment of XCR rifles they don't quote prices until they have taken delivery of the shipment because there lot of other cost associated with importation, that they simply won't know until it is done, but if you really want a ballpark, take the extra cost of a fixed stock and heavy 18' barrel off the cost of a rile.
