    Hello hs4570
Welcome. As you can see most of the board members are busy with the new GIRL member so they can't say hello right now.

Great, I'll take all the accolades I can get........Thanks; and welcome hs4570, you will enjoy it here.

So, now it seems there is three of us in this thread that are over 45 but not yet 70, and have at least one 45-70. Who has what? Mine is a Westly Richards single shot martini action; I can only shoot it off a rest as it is a massive hunk of steel with a 28 inch barrel that tapers DOWN to 1 inch at the muzzel. Its mass really soaks up the recoil, so it is a joy to shoot.

    45-70

Hello all, I also fit into the over 45, under 70 group, my 45-70 is the marlin 1895 rifle which could use a little more mass to soak up some recoil.
