‘Cowboy Action’ Gunsmith for Marlin 1894

I’m looking for recommendations on who I should send my Marlin 1894 to for a permanent fix to the Marlin Jam, as well as slicking up the action for SASS competition. I’ve already changed the lifter once, which cures the problem for a while, until it wears again and starts jamming. All the info I’m finding online are for gunsmiths in the states. I’m hoping we have someone here in Canada who can do this work.
Thanks for your help!

just bought a 94 marlin in 45LC. had no idea about this problem with them. less than 20 rounds down the tube yet. might have to rip it apart and do the stoneing trick.

You see a few Marlins at the matches, but not many. By the time you have it seen to by a gunsmith you will have as much money in it you could have bought a Uberti or Winchester 1873. The internals on them are dead simple, and if you want, short stroke them and they are FAST, even the short stroke kit you can do yourself if you are just a little bit handy

DIY
Marlin 336/1894/5 is a very simple action.
Lots of stuff on youtube about Marlin levers.
A 10 yr old kid could strip one down polish the internals and reassemble it.
Why pay a smith?

You can get Wild West Guns trigger/ejector retrofit parts and a cowboy action spring kit from Brownells.

would recommend RWTC to tune it and it will be done and done right ,.He will get it going for you the first time and in the long run save time and aggravation
