I think he wants a nice piece for his $1000, not ugly ducklings and ancient artifacts (Yes, I've owned both and got rid of them).
 
That's ok most threads have nothing to do with the op once they're started anyway ;). Anytime now we'll have a ridiculous argument spiral out of control and until then it's fun to day dream about new pistol purchases.

Actually I don't care the OP left LOL cause I'm looking at the suggestions, and that Springfield looks amazing! Also I have too much of a hard time deciding what my next one should be. The only one I have is a ruger SR9, and am having a very hard time deciding if I want to branch out into different calibers or keep the same for cost (not having to have many different boxes of ammo sitting on the shelf). I do like the Walter ppq m2 in 40sw. But then since everyone likes 1911's I should get one of those too, Not a glock fan (really for me just don't like the look) but then again everyone else does so need to get one of those too and maybe change my mind! Grrrr then if I wanted to stay cheaper, I could get a SR40 and SR45 off the EE both for about 1,000. I actually like my SR9. Shot a revolver and really didn't like it as much as a semi, but need one of those for the safe too. Beretta 92 looks nice, not on the list for me for now, but some day. M&P have held a bunch at the store and liked them.

Too many choices, not enough cash! And with not being able to choose one makes it hard LOL
