I was wondering if anyone has used the Bushnell Elite 4200 in 1.25x4x24 or the Bushnell Trophy 1x4x24.I would like to try one on my 9.3x62 mauser.Any input would be great.
Thanks Reb

There is a big quality step between a Trophy and a 4200...
I use low power scopes on my 9.3s. The 4200 is definitely a good one. I also used Nikon Monarch UCC with good succes.
The main problem with the small bell (output optic) is the lack of field width field. That's why, for a compact scope, if it's possible to mount, I prefer a 32mm.
Also, be aware that under say 2.5 to 3 X the iron sights will be visible in the optic, wich is sometime annoying.

I know its not one you mentioned but my best bud has used the 1.5-6x44mm Trophy with a 30mm tube on his Stevens 200 for 3 years.

Not the nicest optic in the world but it works, and hasn't been any trouble yet.
