1 MOA Challenge 2013

Are you doing this challenge again next year? If so I may seriously have to consider flying out for a weekend :) I'm freaking blown away that TISSON did it with factory ammo :) Might hafta try me some of that zombie stuff!

Of course the 1 MOA Challenge will be on again this year. Not sure of our pratice dates for this year just yet though. With our new e-targets in use this year the exact size of your group can be put right here on CGN.

Interesting challenge, the 10 shot group sure makes it a true test of the gun, load, and shooter.

I love 5 shot groups in testing my loads, anybody can make 3 shots under an MOA, but most have trouble much past that.

I didn't see this thread till now, but the groups I shot earlier today put me pretty close to being a contender with a bit more fine tuning, except for the fact that my rifle is not allowed apparently under their rules. (.338LM and a muzzle brake.)

Yup your .338 LM and brake are not allowed under F Class rules and could overshoot the Safety Template on most DND ranges in Ontario except for Mon Range in Borden.
Just to let everyone know this challenge will be offered again this year and the previous winners have shot a .22-250's and .223's.

Cool thread. I came close while playing around with my 308 and 12X the other day.......but then I blew it like I always do haha.

Any events like this around for us west coast guys?

Made it a few months ago, 10 rounds under 3" at 305 yards. I was very happy despite opening up the group.

AIAW 308 with PH bipod, prone.
