I have a:

Carl Gustaf M94 in 6.5 x55, 26" barrel w/ Bushnell, older 3-9. (Bought off a great guy at the EE, very happy!)

CZ 527 varmint in 223 w/ Leupold vx-III 3.5-10 B&C reticle. (Scope also off the EE, thumbs up!)

And a Walther Lothar 22lr which currently has no scope as I can not get it lined up with the mounts I have. (It points left, tips appreciated.)

So I am thinking to get a new scope. Right now I am thinking:

Zwarovski Z3, 3-9, or similar.

Or something like the Vortex Viper PST, FFP, mil reticle.

And then I am thinking of moving the Leupold onto the 6.5, and upgrade on the 223. And the Bushnell on the 22lr for now.

I need new mounts for the 22lr, but wants to keep the other ones on for now. (1")

They are hunting guns, but will also be used for target practice and fun. I hunt in the Arctic, caribou to ptarmigan.

What should I get? And where should I put it?

Budget: 500- 1000$

The Conquest is available with the Rapid Z-600. The nice thing about the B&C reticle on the VX-6 is that it is quite heavy, so that you can use the scope effectively in very low light. Illumination is also available, but that would put you about $100-150 over budget.

By the way, I have a Swarovski 3-9x36 AV (similar to the Z3 but made in Austria) and it is a fine scope. I like the VX-6 much better.

Thanks for the input!

Anyone have any suggestions for rings for my 22lr to make the scope align straight with the barrel?

I haven't seen any VX-6s, are there any of the sponsored dealers that sell them with the B&C?

And I have never had illuminated reticles either. There is often not much contrast here, would it be worth it?
