10/22 150 round mag

Yes I remember the thread and the magazines quite succinctly. They came in 3 colours: Black, white and green, and held 150 rounds. The OP posted pictures of them and said that they were being designed and manufactured in Canada. He also said that he was in the process of making specific and interchangeable feeders for certain 22 rifles. The 1022 and the marlin come to mind. Perhaps he had to cease and desist for legal reasons. Or perhaps he was hit by a bus one day lol. Whatever the reason 1 year later and i'm still waiting for my magazine!

I remember that.

He had some Youtube vids showing the function of a pre-production model. It wobbled a little bit (not all 10/22 magwells are the same, so I hear), but seemed to feed alright most of the time.

The bottem mag is from rimfiresports and they are crap. Bought two of them, one the tension spring broke while trying to load ot for the first time, and the second load but the is so much tension in it that it dosen't let the round feed freely and the bolt loses speed and dosen't chamber the round. That and it take three hands and a half hour to load.

Why not just make a belt-fed conversion for the 10/22? Since some companies already make new aftermarket receivers for those... it should be feasible.

:D

(Our version would have to be semi-only to please our gun & freedom hating comrades, of course)

On another note, this kind of looks cool... if it doesn't jam like most higher-capacity 10/22 mags:
