10/22 advice

Recently got my first 10/22 which is a dar 22 with an 18 inch green mountain barrel and Boyd’s stock. The problem I am having is that the only thing that will cycle the action enough to make the trigger reset in the timney trigger is the eley force. It has the Kidd spring kit installed with the lightest spring. Shoots the eley force very well but the cci and sk match shoot a ragged hole at 50, and let’s face it if you can shoot great groups with the cci sv the cost is more palatable. My question is this normal and will it loosen as rounds are fired

Forgot to mention it is a brand new timney trigger, could this be the issue

Check the magazine tension. I had a cycling issue and that was the culprit.

Magazine is good feeds every time, it is a reset issue, I think I got it. There is a small screw on the back of trigger. Once the trigger spring wears in I think I will be ok

After I adjusted the screw this gun runs like a top

Had the same problem. Cleaned the heck out of it with(favourite scrubber) then gave it a shot of Hornady One Shot
