tried out the mag today. no so good. it is a Dlask receiver, Boyd's stock and ruger 10/22 internals.

with the stock 10 round mag, runs no stop. no jams or anything. with the BDM, not the same story.

almost every other one does this. round nose are alot better but still jam like this. if i hold the mag and push forward it can go an extra round or two before it jams.

any ideas?

I have tried a few brands of 25 round mags for my 10/22, so far only one brand proves to be better than the rest, that is Butler Creek Steel Lips 25 Rounds Banana Magazine, it is equally as good as the factory 10 round mag.

Hey, i just had the same problem... Super easy fix :) only about 30 seconds of actual work and now 50 rounds after 50 rounds no problem!!! Its late right now but ill post some pictures first thing tomorrow to show what i did. All you need is a dremal ($20 at princess auto for power fist) and a round end wood/plastic bit.

PS: it looks like your using a Remmington viper round or somthing similar... Round nosed bullets work faaaaar better in the 10/22's. My favorites are winchester super X and remmington golden bullet HP

Hope this will help out :)
