10/22 Anodized wide trigger

Does anyone have an anodized wide trigger replacement for their 10/22. I just recieved mine and see it won't just drop in. I guess I have to take of some metal from the receiver first. Any comments?

This might sounds kinda obvious... but can you put it in sideways then twist it?

you have to do a complete disassemble of the trigger housing, then takes some jewlers files and work at it till you get the lip off of where the trigger passes thru so it is flush with the inside of the housing. all this is done from the inside of the trigger housing, do not try to do it from outside.

took me 5 minutes per side and then the trigger dropped right in.... still didn;t look like it was going to fit but all worked out and now here she is.

That is what I had planned to do but wasn't quite sure as there were no instructions with the trigger
