10/22 banana mags

I can't speak to the Shooter's Ridge brand, but I have had consistently good performance from Butler Creek Steel Lips mags. I have had many of them over the years and used them in at least half a dozen different 10/22's and never had any problems that weren't my own fault (ie. not cleaning or lubing my gun).

I paid $25.00 for a Shooter's Ridge extended mag for my 10/22.

After trying 8 different makes / types of ammo in it, I finally gave up. I would get at most 3 shots before it would jam with a round vertical in the action.
I ended up writing a nasty note to whoever found it that they were welcome to it, and left it on one of the shooting benches at the range. I walked away with no regrets.
I now have 2 Butler Creek mags that work perfectly.

I'm having good success with Butler Creek's Steel Lips and Hot lips. Both function equally well, but its possible the Hot Lips with plastic instead of stainless steel feed lips, may wear out faster. I've had both only for a year and probably only put 1000 or so rounds through each magazine. Not that its anything against the Steel Lips, but it did require more use to "break in" before it fed reliably, which it does now.

Don't get magazines with the plastic lips (like you see at wholesalesports, aka Butler Creek) cause they're jam-o-rific!

I have had a steel lips and a hot lips by butler creek. The steel lips are much more solid, and they "click" into the reciever with authority. The hot lips (plastic ones) kind of wobble around once they wear down a bit and if you don't have them in just right, then they cause your Ruger to not feed properly and they jam up.

Tactical Innovations are the best out there with B.C. (steel lips) a distant second.

X2 ! TI are superior to anything and you have a choice of composite or alluminum. i have one of each, however the composite are a good deal price wise. do a search for last month, i believe someone on this site has finally been able to import them in.

The Butler Creek steel lip mags are a very good investment, I have a bunch of them and they work perfectly, they cost only a little more that the plastic ones but are worth every penny. I haven't used the TI ones but heard nothing but good things about them.

Sorry, I thought since they didn't have cart adding capabilities they were all sold out.

Only just noticed one has to ask about ordering.

Are these mags REALLY that much better than BC steel lips? About the same cost and only witness holes.

The great thing about Tac Inc mags are their adjustable & built like a brick sheet house...:D
Also...once you have them adjusted correctly, they snap in tight to your mag well and STAY tight for better feed capabilities.
NO flopping around like a defrosted hot dog or FTF's due to misfeeding :sniper:

You have to order VIA email.

Just confirmed my order and paid! Two TI aluminum mags are on there way to me! :D

Can't believe someone is finally selling TI mags in canada! I've been trying to get my hands on some for years
