Hey guys,
I am thinking of getting a new barrel for my stock-compact barrel one that has seen over 50 g rounds so it is not accurate anymore. I am thinking of getting accuracy, shorter, lighter... cheaper... would the Dlask or tactical solution or any other type of barrel. I am thinking of spending around 200 -300 $ .

Thanks

Kidd also makes one as well, but its also pretty pricey, one might be on the EE though.

Another option might be to see if you could get Jerry at Mystic Precision to order in a short sporter contour barrel for you.

Pws ia awesome. 16" 1lbs 6 oz
Dlask is solid. 8", 12.5", 16.5" different chambers and barrel material, different weights
Tactical Solutions is light. 16.5" 15oz
Magnum research barrel if you can find one. 16.5" The lightest full length Bull barrel 13oz
Pick your poison but look up youtube rwviews on each!

ive got and shot Dlask and TS, id recommend both.
my dad put a.... im gonna say Green Mountain(?) on his, nice, and a lot cheaper then mine where (are)

you need to decide what you want and what you want to do with it and that might narrow down your search field.
if your wanting stock length and lightness then what lil' Wolf above said, TS or magnum research.
if you want bull barrels then Dlask or kidd or GM.

all depends on length, weight and purpose.

You need to prioritize your criteria... is weight your top priority or is accuracy your top priority? The two are not diametrically opposed, but IME in their extremes they are at odds... if you want extreme accuracy, you would not choose the super light barrels and if you want extreme lightness then you would not choose the most accurate barrels as they tend to be more stable heavier contour barrels... perhaps a good compromise is a heavier contour BUT shorter length... only you can answer that. I am personally not a TacSol fan, I have tested four TS barrels and the accuracy was poor on all of them... but if you are looking for a plinker or just MOBH accuracy (minute of bunny head), then the TacSol may be just the ticket. Any full contour .920" barrel is going to be heavy, but you can cut weight by going shorter and not giving up much accuracy to 50 meters... Green Mountain and Dlask have some nice affordable short barrels... and I can vouch for the quality and accuracy of both. A Kidd barrel will be a little more money, but are top quality... my Supergrade is extremely accurate but you wouldn't call it light... Volquartsen makes a nice product also... I find their tensioned (light) barrels to be more accurate than TS or Whistle Pig...
