10/22 Barrel Shroud

Does anyone know where I could pick up a barrel shroud for my Ruger 10/22? I have a standard length barrel and the Tapco stock. I'm not a huge fan of the profile of the barrel and am looking for just a simple shroud thr will go from the stock to the end of the barrel and mount securely. I don't mind removing the front sight and don't need one to fit around it. Even if there isn't one specifically for the 10/22, maybe I could get creative with another 22 cal shroud and cut it down but I'm struggling to find one that fits.

So you're looking for a shroud somewhat like this?

I preferred if it went to the tip of the barrel and was black. Vented/ported doesn't really matter but id prefer if it wasn't. If that exists haha
 
Doesn't exist as far as I know.
You're basically just looking for a tube to go over the barrel.
You might want to take your idea to a machine shop and see if they can custom make you something.

Actually, E&L makes all kinds....and does some custom work for a reasonable price.
I had them make me one for my JR Carbine, and had it at my door in 5 days.

I'll dig a pic up (even though my JR is long gone to another CGN'r); but it's the std (non-ventilated) shroud that many of us had made for the pencil-thin triangle barrel. For the $75 I spent, it was excellent quality; fit & finish was perfect.

Best I could find, unfortunately........but trust me, it was an awesome barrel shroud!

That looks really cool and thanks for the link! I'll get in touch with him - maybe I can get the Ruger 10/22 one with the foregrip (looks kinda tacky) otherwise I'll see if he can custom make one.
