10/22 barrel

I agree, I noticed VQ heaviest barrel they got is the weighted muzzle one.

Jamie if your going to put the heaviest barrel, Might I suggest upgrading the Vblock to a adjustable ( Or drill and tap for a small set screw ). It raises the barrel to comp for the barrel droop of the heavy barrel. So you don't need to use more elevation to comp.

Getting the Dlask one. They are sold out of barrels I want.

They are really good to talk to if you give them a call. V blocks were sold out so i called to see if they could hold the rest of my order until they became available. They said it would be a week or so. They called back the next day to let me know they rounded one up for me and my package was on the way. Long story short, they may have what you want being made and could hold one for you. Did you decide on a sporter or target chamber?

Joe is a good man. He broke my su22 when threading it. Replaced my whole rifle.
He needs to work on customer relation skills but as a builder, we are lucky to have him in Canada!

Side note, its a little frustrating to hear yet another sr22 owner swapping barrels and or chassies.
Why the heck did you spend and extra $200 on the sr22 if your only needing a stock 10/22 and building your own.

Do you even read?

No I put a 10/22 in a Nordic chassis. With a short Dlask barrel

Because we can then sell the chassis for $250 when we're tired of the AR look and still come out ahead. Enjoyed the SR22 for a while, now I'm digging it as an SBR:

So if you sell the stock and barrel, you basically lose the sr.
Let me guess, the dlask barrel groups better?
I hear everyone say how much greater the SR22 is, however in the end, they always swap parts.
So why not save a bunch and start with a basic 10/22?
The sr22 is an overpriced 10/22. Is it really worth $820 before taxes?????

Because its what? 350 or so for a basic 10/22? Then buy a Nordic kit there is like another 230$ then you need to buy a forearm, Stock and Pistol Grip. 250+ Then a barrel. 150-200$ Then might sell the stock and barrel for 60$..

Why when you can find SR22 for 500 -600$ slightly used.

Because we can. I bought the SR22 as my very first firearm, enjoyed it for 3 years, and now I'm into my SBR. I came out ahead, and learned about modding 10/22s in the process. There is no downside to this, as hard as it may be for you to believe.

ive got the Dlask 18.5 bull barrel on my tack pusher and it is one heavy SOB!
i would not want to be walking through a field shooting gophers with that gun.
but sitting at the bench shooting wings off of fly's it is perfect.
