Why would anyone want a bipod for a .22?
You can just get a barrel mounted bipod and won't have to worry about having nothing to mount it to.
huh, funny this should come up...... I bought a swivel stud kit for my 10/22 on saturday from my local g-store. it came with 2 studs and 2 sling swivels........ It only cost 9.99 + tax......
I guess thats the trouble........ it seems easy, just don't drill your holes to big!! I am sure someone out there has a horror story to tell!
FYI I used my dremel to cut off the front "screw" mine was too long as well. I found that if you drilled the hole on the inside of the barrel channel a little tight you may not have to "glue" in the "nut" that the front swivel post goes into.......
Good luck
