10/22 bolt buffer - How long do they last?

For the cost I thought why not? 3000+ rounds and it still looks like new.

The guy at Wholesale Sports in Lethbridge didn't want to sell me the Mini Mags for my 10/22 until I told him I had a bolt buffer in it, said they would be to harsh on the gun

Once again, WSS is proved to be manned by idiots. I've always wondered where these guys come up with this stuff?

well if you where lucky enough when they first came out you could have got 3 for $5 and given the other 2 to friends like i did

but as far as the bolt buffer. i had the metal one in for 12 years and it still works fine. i didn't notice a diiference when i installed the tuffer buffer.

most of the guys that work at wss do NOT know much about anything that they sell. they go on what other people have said... lots of b.s and hearsay.

i quit going to wss in calgary for that very reasion. i was tired of getting miss information and uninformed opionions about there products.

I just picked up a tuffer buffer and installed it in my gun, going shooting this weekend! I am hoping a difference will be noticed
