10/22 Bolt Issues

Hell, then try it upside down. Take the trigger group out, and carefully watch/feel how the hammer goes down. If I remember right, it should be able to sit flush with the top of the trigger housing. As you push the hammer down into it, look/feel for anything that's interfering.

Break it right down, wipe everthing down, oil it and slap her back togeather.

Could be the spring i notice mine catch's on the rod a bit even after i'v oiled it.

Great news guys! :)

I got some VQ parts in the mail today. As I was putting them all together, I got a bit ahead of myself. I forgot to add the ejector to the parts, and in my haste I put the gun together and tried it. It worked like brand new.

Then of course I realized that I had forgotten the ejector, so I knew what the problematic part was. Sure enough, I looked at the bolt and there was an extremely small line developing where the ejector was scratching into the bolt.

Pretty easy fix. All I did was take some of my father's sand paper, sand down the top and bottom of the ejector (where it sits on the trigger group) and gave it a bit more clearance. It now works like magic and I will be going shooting with this bad boy tomorrow.

Thanks a lot for ALL your help guys. I'll try to repay you guys by converting a few anti's at school this year. ;)
