Well my extractor and extractor plunger got launched into outter space last night.

Can anyone tell me id I get one of the after market extractor and spring do I need the extractor plunger? I looked at some last night and it seems odd they don't appear to have the plunger with them.

And if I do need a plunger, where is the best place to get one in Canada?

I assume you are asking about B-16,"extractor plunger", I would say yes it is required,Brownells has them- they ship to Canada, some dealers bring in Brownells items on request.

Western Gun Parts or check with whoever is the major importer/distributor for Ruger products in Canada.

I had the same thing happen with my RIA M22 bolt. I just brushed it gently with a cotton swab and it launched clear across the room. That is not supposed to happen. It wasn't installed correctly from the factory. I found it though!

I might have spare parts u can have... I'm in ft mac until late thur evening. Remind me then, and I'll have a look, but I'm pretty sure I do have the spring plunger ect...

Sweet, I may take you up on that, I am checking with the Quebec warranty depot. I also have no problem paying you for them as well.

Cheers

Yep, B16.

Checked Brownells, $41USD for shipping. If that is th eonly source, I'll buy a whole new bolt from Dlask.

Call them, ask for cheapest shipping possible to Canada (US Post), small item like that shouldn't be more than $12-15USD to ship.
