So I pick up a new-to-me 10/22 tomorrow to start a tacticool build-up. I want to run a low-ish power scope as well as a red-dot as it will be for .22 tactical matches. My question is this; has anyone used the accessory ring with the short rails on it from NCstar? I had planned to run the red-dot at the front end of my scope, directly above the scope.
As for the rest, I have an M-16 pistol grip as well as an AK47 under folder. I will either mount these to the original wood stock or make an aluminum rail stock with phenolic spacers and mounting points as needed.
Any input as well as answers to my first question welcome.
