Hi,

I'm thinking getting a 12" threaded bull barrel for my SR22. What are the muzzle attachement options for a bull barrel? Standard flash hiders/brakes are too small in diameter and would look like crap.

Any suggestions? What have you done with yours? Pics would be appreciated.

Thanks

If you want a matching .920 Comp, I would recommend a Dlask Levang Compensator or a TacSol Compensator.

I used to have pics of mine when I had the Dlask Comp but I must have deleted them. The TacSol version comes in different finishes if you want to have an offset color. The dlask barrels are blued and have a slight gloss look to them, so color matching may be an issue if you are worried about looks.

Not to derail the thread, but how helpful are these compensators on a .22?

For recoil .. nothing, it's all about looks.

But the design of the Dlask Levang Comp is a blow forward. All the excess gas and particulate are "blown" forward of the shooter, where a regular comp/brake will expel the gas and such out the sides and rearward.

OK, I went for a tacsol comp with a NEA barrel. Will I need a shim with this configuration? I didn't like the idea of a glossy barrel on my SR22.

NEA 12" Barrel with Crusader Brake.

Will have pics of the 9" barrel once new stock arrives.
